New Church Ministry is a ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) that trains, equips, assists and multiplies emerging and affiliating congregations and leaders. Our heritage is rooted in the New Church Movement. Here’s how we can help you:
Training at Leadership Academy
Leadership Academy is an interactive learning experience that brings together Disciples from across North America to share leadership experience, wisdom, and training.
New Church Hacks webinar series
Each episode provides practical (and sometimes peculiar) prompts for new church starts. New Church Hacks is jam-packed with clever solutions to tricky problems and empowers courageous leaders with the tools, tips and how-tos to start, sustain and strengthen congregations.
Episodes are recorded and emailed to all registrants.
Our very first episode of Season 2, “Upgrade Your Leadership for the New Year,” focused on:
- Learning how to positively impact the success of your team, your organization, and yourself
- Better understanding your own motivations, strengths, and weaknesses
- Developing skills for facilitating open communication and encouragement with others around you
An experienced coach will walk alongside you to help you remain on track and accountable for the goals set for yourself and church plant. Once you have a launch date, we can begin the coaching process.
Church Planters Assessment
We will schedule an hour-long conversation during which your past performance (the best indicator for future performance as it pertains to new church planting and church growth) is explored.
Missional Discovery Using Multi-Dimensional Demographics
Deepen internal and external contextual understanding using the MissionInsite demographic and analytical tool to help explore solutions to complex strategic missional challenges in your chosen geographical location for ministry. Connect socio-economic, behavioral, lifestyle and psychographic intelligence about your members, visitors and the local community at large. Once you have a perspective location, we will begin the demographics analysis process.
